Last Nov 1st, V6 had the final day of their “V6 Live Tour 2015 ~Since 1995~FOREVER” at Tokyo’s Yoyogi First Gymnasium. The day marks the 20th anniversary of the group since they debuted back in 1995.

Showing their support are Arashi, TOKIO, Hey!Say!JUMP, Ikuta Toma, and A.B.C-Z‘s Totsuka Shota. During the encore of V6’s “TAKE ME HIGHER”, Arashi appeared onstage ,wearing black t-shirt and white jeans, and served as V6’s backup dancers. Before Arashi debuted, the group served as backup dancers of V6. Arashi even bought old videos of V6 through the group’s FC members so they can practice “TAKE ME HIGHER’s” choreography.

Inohara Yoshihiko thanked Arashi for being their backup dancers and for even coming to the rehearsal that morning. Sakurai Sho also congratulated V6 in their 20th anniversary and called themselves as V6’s children.

In a related news, V6’s Inohara Yoshihiko has been officially appointed as the White Team chairman for this year’s Kohaku Uta Gassen. This is the first time that Inohara will host NHK’s annual singing contest while Red Team chair, Ayase Haruka, will be her 2nd time.

There are not so interesting rumors from Johnny’s land lately, the papz are probably having a hiatus and are busy with their next target. However, there are still few that caught my interest because it involves rumored relationships and we all like these kind of gossips. haha. Involved parties are: Chinen Yuri and Ikuta Toma.

• Hey!Say!JUMP’s Chinen Yuri parties with AKB girls.

As reported earlier, Chinen Yuri was seen drinking alone in a bar at Roppongi. I’m sure that everyone is relieved that he was alone; however, last Halloween is a different matter. Rumor has it that the youngest and baby-faced JUMP member attended a pre-Halloween party on 28th to 29th at a bar called “iara”. According to a Facebook post, “Chi-chan” went to the bar with a girl who works as an idol choreographer, and moonlight as a DJ, but generally an unknown star. That’s harsh. Aside from that, Chinen also attended a private birthday party of a talento named Chiaki. The two met during “24 Hr TV” and Chiaki thanked Chinen (in her blog post) as one of the attendees of her birthday bash. So much for being private. In the party, AKB48‘s Minegishi Minami and NGT48‘s Kitahara Rie were also in attendance. Some fans are worried if it’s okay or safe for Chinen to be in the same party as Minegishi and Kitahara. Aside from AKB girls, there’s also Sano Hinako in the party, Chinen’s co-star in “Jigoku Sensei“, and is rumored to be getting close to Chinen.

Some fans tend to overreact in an AKB member is involve. It’s not like Minegishi and Kitahara will swarm around Chinen and so. As for Sano, well, I don’t really like her so Chinen better stay away from her. haha. 

• Ikuta Toma and Seino Nana were seen on a date

Ikuta Toma and his “Ouroboros” co-star, Seino Nana, were rumored to be dating after Seino was seen visiting Ikuta’s apartment. Anyway, there’s no follow-up after since both of them chose to kept mum about it. Well, the most recent sighting of the elusive rumored couple is when they ate at a high-end, long standing eel restaurant in Tokyo. The two were joined by Kasahara Hideyuki, who co-starred with them in the 4th episode of Ouroboros.

As long as they are happy, I’m okay with this couple. XD

This movie just got better…I mean more ikemens! haha.

As reported earlier, Ikuta Toma and Okada Masaki will be starring in the movie, “Himitsu~THE TOP SECRET~” to be directed by Ohtomo Keishi. This manga to live adaptation is a psychological thriller about National Research Institute of Police Science’s 9th Forensics Laboratory aka “ninth” where elite investigators uses a special type of MRI to view the memories of the deceased person, which can help the investigators in solving the mystery behind their bizarre death.

Ikuta plays the role of Maki Tsuyoshi, the ninth‘s Chief with a genius brain who suffered from a trauma while Okada Masaki plays the role of Aoki Ikkuo, a rookie investigator at ninth. This is the first time that the two will be working together since “Hana Kimi” TV drama. Earlier, Chiaki Kuriyama and Omori Nao have been announced as part of the cast and the rest will be Matsuzaka Tori as Maki’s bestfriend, Lily Franky as a psychologist, Shiina Kippei as a murderer, Ookura Koji and Kinami Haruka as part of the investigative team, and Hirayama Yusuke as the Deputy Chief of the ninth.

Ikuta, Okada, and Matsuzaka, what more can I ask for? haha. Seriously, the movie has a solid plot, I want a deka drama like this for a change, the ikemens are just a bonus.

“Himitsu~THE TOP SECRET~” will hit the theaters in Aug 2016.

The virgin undercover is back!

It was announced that 2014’s “Mogura no Uta Sennuu Sosakan REIJI” will be having a sequel starring Ikuta Toma, written by Kudo Kankuro, and to be directed by Takashi Miike. The trio also worked together in the movie’s first installment that grossed 2.19 billion Yen.

In the sequel, Ikuta will reprise his role as Kikukawa Reiji, a lecherous-yet virgin- police undercover who will be infiltrating a crime syndicate. Ikuta is looking forward for the sequel and hopes to power-up from his earlier work.

Filming is scheduled this year and the movie release date will be announced afterwards.

This news reminds me that I haven’t seen this movie, I have a copy but I never got around to watch it. Better do it soon!

• Arashi’s “Fukkatsu Love” is out on the 24^th of Feb and Ikuta Toma is in the MV. Written by Yamashita Tatsurou and his wife, Takeuchi Mariya, Fukkatsu LOVE is a love song that broke my heart, the lyrics are really great, and I’m not cringing at the English. • Arashi’s Matsumoto Jun will be a guest on Tokyo FM’s Japamon on the 21^st of February, according to the program’s official website. Now this is interesting because I never heard Jun on radio and I wanna. Some rumors on Facebook claims he’s going to be talking about his new drama [99.9] which will air in Spring, but no confirmations yet. Jnews1

• SMAP’s Inagaki Goro’s stage play, “Koi to Ongaku FINAL” have finished their run in Osaka Theater Drama City. The stage play will continue in PARCO Theater, Tokyo and tickets are on sale now. Jnews1

Ikuta Toma will be doing a stage play after 10 years, and will be joined by Johnny’s West’s Kamiyama Tomohiro.

『Vamp Bamboo Burn』is an original work by screenwriter Kankuro Kudo. Kankuro also wrote the screenplay for The Mole Song, one of the movie Ikuta starred as the main character.

Toma will be playing a vampire that has been living since the Heian Period, and is now a vocalist in a Visual Kei band. He will also be singing the songs Kankuro Kudo will be writing for the play.

Joining him in the cast will be Koike Eiko, Nakamura Tomoya and J West’s Kamiyama Tomohiro.

The last time Toma was in a stage play was back in 2006, for “Cat in Red Boots”, so I’m excited to hear about his performances and hopefully get a few snippets of him singing, because I want to see Toma sing! He’s a Johnnys after all. And he’s a vampire, can this thing get even more perfect…?

• SMAP’s Katori Shingo will be starring in a TV Asahi Drama Special, which will be broadcasted on March 27th. The suspense drama will be based on the manga, “The Poe Family” or “Poe no Ichizoku”, and Nakajo Ayami will be playing the female main character. • Ohno Satoshi will be joined by one of his kouhai in his drama, “Sekai Ichi Muzukashii Koi”. On the 5th of March (which is tomorrow, but I wrote this a week ago… #strugglingtofindagoodpacehere #forgiveme), they will be announcing the junior who will be acting along Ohno in the drama. The chart of the drama on the official website has also been updated, and we can already see that “Miura Ieyasu” is Haru’s kouhai and his identity will be revealed later on “Arashi ni Shiyagare”.

Some fans speculates Johnny’s West‘s Nozomu Kotaki since his Johnny’s Net profil picture matches the cut out of the broacast. I wish it would be Chinen Yuri, just cause. via jnews1

The show will be starting in Nagano, at the Santo Myuse, from Aug 5th till the 7th, followed by the shows in Tokyo, at the Akasaka ACT Theater, from Aug 17th till Sep 18th, then in Toyama, at the Aubade Hall, from Oct 7th till the 9th and finally in Osaka, at the Festival Hall, from Oct 19th till the 31st (just in time for Halloween!).

On April 27th’s broadcast of MBS’s “Tegomass’s Radio“, a listener asked Tegomass if a girl should be doing her best to be elegant during a meal.

Masuda: I would probably wouldn’t like a girl without manners, but eating like she normally does would be fine. If she’s too polite or something, it would be a bit weird, wouldn’t it?

Tegoshi expressed himself saying that, he would rather have a girl who eats without worrying about the other too much, than a girl who tries her best to look elegant. He also reveal the bad habits that he cannot stand during a meal.

Tegoshi: Resting your elbows on the table are no good for me. I absolutely hate that. I also don’t like when they prattle too much. Prattle and elbows on the table, I really don’t like that. Even when men does it, I don’t like it.

Although you should mind your manners around Tegoshi, he wouldn’t mind if you just eat how you would usually do.

• Aiba Masaki‘s sharehouse

On TV Tokyo’s “Totsugeki! Hajimemashite Variety Ichigen-san!” (March 19th), Aiba Masaki revealed that he would want to do a sharehouse with Sakurai Sho.

“Since he can precisely set up the schedules, he would be able to just do everything for me. ‘Today we’ll eat this, today we’ll go here’ etc. I don’t think that I won’t be able to live with any of them, but if I had to choose, then it would be MatsuJun. I don’t know but, I have the impression that he would tell me “The remote control is not in the right place.” But its just my image, he’s not that kind of person. But for me, I tend to think he has those kind of sides too. He’s Mister Stoic after all!”

• Nakamaru & Maggie‘s encounter at a football match

On NTV’s BuzzRhythm (April 1st), KAT-TUN’s Nakamaru Yuichi revealed the time he accidentally saw Maggie at a football match, a few years ago.

Nakamaru said, by chance, he was seated right in front of Maggie. “The person right behind me spilled beer and scones, and my bag got wet. So I turned around wondering who it was, and then I realized it was Maggie.”

Maggie responded that she doesn’t think that it was her that spilled the drinks. “I was there with 5 or 6 of my friends. And we were all drinking too, but I apologize for that.”

• Kis-My-Ft2‘s Miyata Toshiya is mama’s boy

On TBS’s “Momm!!”, SMAP‘s Nakai Masahiro asked Miyata, “I think you really love your mom, right? If you put your mind into it, would you be able to sleep with her?”

Miyata answered: “Even I don’t try to force myself, I can sleep in the same room as her.” Then, his bandmate, Nikaido Takashi asked him if he would be able to take a bath with his mom.

Miyata said: “Yeah I can, we’re not man and woman.” to which Nakai-kun returned, in a tsukkomi, “Naturally!”
